Chapter Highlight: Pi Kappa Alpha

The Pi Kappa Alpha Delta Beta Chapter has been having a very successful spring recruitment campaign. Currently, we have 7 members signed and we are looking to add 3 more by the end of this week. Our newly initiated fall members have been working very hard to be involved as they have been conducting brotherhood events, along with taking on leadership roles in other organizations such as the sports management club and many others. They have been also very involved within the community, whether it is volunteering for Bowling Green blood drives or simple trash pickup around campus, they do a fantastic job at leading a helping hand.

During the past few months Pi Kappa Alpha has been doing a lot to stay busy. Our annual Homecoming is always a great way for us to connect with alumni new and old, and this Homecoming was no different. Many alumni from the 70's came out to show support to our chapter support. Along with that, we were able to show them around the new Greek village as well as our new house that we are all very excited for. As for Philanthropies, we host our Fireman's Auction every year and this year had a tremendous turnout as all of our proceeds go to Mental Health of America and for the spring we have three big philanthropies we will be having throughout the entirety of spring semester that we are looking forward too.

The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity is very fortunate to have an abundance of national conventions where our members learn not only what it means to be an active member within Pi Kappa Alpha, but we learn how to be a leader and how to go on to do better things for our community. Our Chapter Executives conference was hosted in Memphis, Tennessee this year where our executive members went and learned about the inner workings of their respected position along with forming friendships with many of the other chapters within, and out of the country. Secondly, we also have a retreat coming up in Chicago, Illinois where the chapters from the Midwest region come together to learn more about Pi Kappa Alpha and themselves. This is an awesome weekend where deep understanding of the letters of Pi Kappa Alpha are taught.

The Pi Kappa Alpha Delta Beta Chapter exemplifies what every individual should strive to be in their daily lives. We stand by our four founding beliefs of Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentleman and live those out everyday. We will bring out the qualities in people that they never thought they had, and we push our members to strive for the best, and to not accept failure. The Pi Kappa Alpha Delta Beta Chapter has been producing only the best since 1868.
