Chapter Highlight: Influencing the Community One Fraternity Man at a Time.

Recruitment went well for Phi Gamma Delta. Between formal and open recruitment we received 11 new members. Our new members have been doing fundraising at all sporting events selling the 50/50 raffle tickets. They have also been involved with community service around Bowling Green and have been involved with intramural sports with our fraternity.

During homecoming weekend, we held a dual tailgate with Delta Gamma and invited all of our alumni back. We were able to give our alumni the opportunity, through FSL, to look into our new fraternity house that is being built. We entered a float in the homecoming parade with Delta Gamma and were able make a strong connection with them. Homecoming overall was a great experience for our fraternity to connected with not only our alumni, but with another great organization on campus. Our summer national convention is coming up this summer and will be taking place in Boston. Our headquarters will also be hosting our yearly leadership conference in St. Louis this upcoming January. Our new executive board will be going there to receive the proper education for running our chapter. We recently held our first annual FIJI Car Smash this semester and hope to be able to bring it back for next Fall. All proceeds from the event went to the USO.

Our chapter is continuing to build up strong men into society. We strive for excellence in everything we do and are focus on our motto, "College, Fraternity, Self." Our chapter achieved the highest GPA we've had in 10 years and we will continue to hold ourselves to higher standards. As men of Fiji, we are proud to do philanthropies that benefit the USO and the Testicular Cancer Society. In the past 2 years, we've been able to almost double in chapter size and will continue to grow in the future.
