Chapter Highlight: Changing the Face of Greek Life One Day at a Time

Recruitment was extremely successful for Delta Chi. Our chapter gained 21 new members from the recruitment process this fall. They have been growing as a pledge class and have already become assets within the chapter. They have participated in numerous community service events with Chamber of Commerce including a Downtown Trick or Treat event cosponsored with Delta Chi. Homecoming began with a State of the Chapter Address and brunch for alumni. After the State of the Chapter, members and alumni toured the new Greek Village and observed the houses all chapters will be residing in for the coming years. Alumni then enjoyed a tailgate outside of the Doyt until game time. Following the game, alumni and actives had dinner and attended a closed event at a bar downtown. Delta Chi's Convention happens biannually.

Members are looking forward to Convention this summer in Louisville, Kentucky. Convention is a phenomenal opportunity for members to create connections with members from all over country. This year, we have hosted the Jimmy V 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and have our Sweetheart's Week coming up in December. We are looking forward to crowning a new Sweetheart for the upcoming year.

Our philanthropy chairman, Dan, has worked tirelessly all year to ensure all events have run smoothly and raise money for the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. Our members have said they joined Delta Chi because they could see members becoming their best friends or even their future best men. Our events bring our brotherhood closer by the type of bonds we create. Our young alumni base helps networking opportunities and many members have acquired internships through our alumni. We look forward to meeting any new guys looking to join a Fraternity this winter
