The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the coordinating and governing body for all of Bowling Green State University’s IFC fraternities. The Council consists of six elected executive chairs and two representatives (one president & one delegate or two delegates) from each fraternity. The Council meets together on Tuesday nights throughout the academic year in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The Council establishes and coordinates all recruitment (“rush”) activities, promotes and supervises academic achievement, governs the actions of its member chapters, and promotes community service projects throughout the year. The Council establishes bonds and maintains a common ground with all fraternities. The IFC is a brotherhood amongst the Greek general fraternity community where common goals, interests, and a strong camaraderie are formed. It is the goal of all members of the Interfraternity Council of Bowling Green State University to be positive leaders on campus. This Fall IFC will be exceeding 600 active men in 17 fraternities.
