Chapter: Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Zeta

Joining Date: Fall 2013 Positions in Chapter: Recruitment Chair Clayton Wood a current At-Large Senator of USG is a member of Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Zeta. He became a brother of Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Zeta in the Fall of 2013. Throughout the last year, his experience with this chapter has grown him into the leader he is today. As a freshman, he acquired the position of Recruitment Chair in his chapter. As the Recruitment Chair, he has dedicated his work to improve the quality of members recruited into Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Zeta; and after this formal recruitment he can truly say that the Fall 2014 New Member Class of Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Zeta exemplify what it means to be a fraternity man, not a fraternity boy. When asked how his exeperiences in this postion has provided him with skills that translate to being on USG he stated the following:

"I joined the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) in January of 2014 as an At-Large Senator. Being a Recruitment Chair in Phi Kappa Psi has taught me how to collaborate with others, make personal relationships, and lead a group of individuals, which I have been able to use in USG. I have worked on resolutions, participated in multiple committees, and spoke for my constituents. Without learning from the experience of taking on a leadership position in Phi Kappa Psi, I would not have been able to contribute to the success of the Undergraduate Student Government."
