Recent graduate of Bowling Green State University, and Pi Kappa Alpha alumni Joe Gallo completed a challenge where he ate chipotle for 100 days straight. His original goal was to parody the “100 days of happiness” trend and turn it into “100 days of Chipotle,” where he would eat one Chipotle burrito each day for 100 days. A few days into the challenge, he discovered his fraternity brother Bret Grund, had been diagnosed with stage four brain cancer. Gallo then decided to turn his mission into a cause to help raise money to cover Bret’s medical bills. Gallo and his fraternity brothers started a GoFundMe campaign, and they have already raised $10,000 to put toward Bret’s medical bills. Thus, #100daysforgrundfund was born. Their goal is to raise $10,000 more to help ease the burden on Bret and his family. Bret has completed surgery, and is in the process of recovering.
