We, the Men of the Zeta Lambda Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, here at Bowling Green State University pride ourselves on upholding our three core values: Charity, Esteem, and Love.
We embody Charity by having regard for the virtues of our fellow brothers, the Greek community, and fellow students here at BGSU, while being slow to censor their faults.
We uphold the value of Esteem by constantly reminding ourselves that we must not judge our peers by wealth, rank, or honor, but for personal worth and character.
Our third core value is Love. Love reminds us to cherish and continually strive to strengthen our bonds with others in our lives, especially our fellow fraternity brothers, and to cherish these bonds throughout our lifetime.
The Zeta Lambda Chapter of TKE has many standards we hold our individual members to, such as a minimum of 20 community service hours per semester per member. We also encourage and strive to foster leadership development both in our organization and in other BGSU organizations, while striving for academic success with a minimum semesterly GPA requirement of 2.75.
